Regular assessments help ensure swimmers are progressing through the program and developing the skills required for their current level. Our assessment process is managed by our Pool Deck Supervisors and takes place throughout the year.
✅ How Often Are Students Assessed?Our Pool Deck Supervisors follow a scheduled assessment timetable to ensure that all students receive a minimum of two assessments each year.
These assessments help determine whether a swimmer is progressing appropriately and ready to move to the next level.
📅 Do I Need to Book an Assessment?No. There is no need to schedule an assessment for your child.
During designated assessment weeks, our Pool Deck Supervisors assess all students within their regular classes.

✅ All eligible students are assessed as part of their normal class
📍 Where Can I Find the Assessment Schedule?A copy of the current assessment schedule is displayed on our noticeboard as you walk through to the pool area.
We encourage families to check the noticeboard regularly for upcoming assessment dates.
💬 What If I Have Questions About My Child's Progress?If you would like to discuss your child's assessment results or swimming progression, please speak directly with one of our Pool Deck Supervisors.
They can provide feedback on your child's development, skill progression, and readiness for advancement to the next level.
Following an assessment, you will receive an email with the skills that have improve since the swimmer’s last assessment.
