Do You Offer Lessons for Swimmers with Additional Needs or Disabilities?

We are committed to providing inclusive swimming opportunities for swimmers of all abilities. Our Access and Inclusion instructors have specialised training and experience in supporting children with a wide range of physical, developmental, behavioural, and neurodiverse needs.

🏊 What All Abilities Lessons Are Available?

All Abilities lessons are currently offered through private lessons, allowing instruction to be tailored to the swimmer's individual needs, goals, and learning style.

💙 Do You Have Instructors Experienced in Supporting Neurodiverse Swimmers and Swimmers with Disabilities?

Yes. Our Access and Inclusion instructors hold specialised qualifications and have experience working with children of all abilities and support needs.

This includes swimmers with:

✅ Neurodiverse needs
✅ Physical disabilities
✅ Developmental delays
✅ Additional support requirements

Our goal is to create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment where every swimmer can build confidence and develop essential water safety skills.

🤝 What Happens Before Lessons Begin?

Before booking lessons, the swimmer and instructor will meet for an initial introduction.

This allows:

✅ The instructor to get to know the swimmer
✅ Discussion of individual needs and goals
✅ Identification of interests, preferences, and support strategies
✅ Assessment of suitability and compatibility between the swimmer and instructor

This process helps ensure the best possible learning experience for the swimmer.

⏳ Are Places Limited?

Yes. Due to the specialised nature of these lessons, places are limited and subject to instructor availability.

We recommend contacting the Aquatics Team as early as possible to discuss options and availability.
