Physical Features of the Building
βΏ Ramp Access
Ramps provide seamless access to all aquatic areas, including the 10-lane 50m pool, 8-lane 25m pool, dedicated Learn to Swim pool, and the Warm Water Rehabilitation pool.

- Crutch/cane holders are available on each ramp.
- Tactile buttons and colour changes in the tiles signify gradient changes for the visually impaired.
πͺ Level Access & Automatic Doors
There is level access to all dry areas, with automatic sliding doors and a lift to access the health club located on level 1.
π Lifts for Accessibility
A lift is available for easy access to the health club on the first floor, ensuring inclusive access to all.
π» Changing Places Change Room (MLAK Access)
Our Changing Places facility offers a specialised changing room for people with high support needs, providing comfort and dignity.
πΊ Quiet Room
A quiet room with sensory items and an armchair is available. This space is perfect for breastfeeding, prayer, or for neurodivergent individuals needing a peaceful space. Access can be arranged through reception.

Wide hallways and open spaces ensure clear paths of movement throughout the centre, making it easy for everyone to get around.
Changing Places Change Room
Our Changing Places facility allows people with high support needs to participate in all aspects of community life without concerns about accessible toilet facilities. This room requires an MLAK key and includes:
- A height-adjustable adult-sized change table
- A constant-charging ceiling track hoist system
- A centrally located peninsula toilet
- Additional circulation space beyond standard accessible toilets
- An automatic door with a clear opening of 950mm or more
- A privacy screen for discretion
Operational Additions to Enhance Accessibility
πΌ Aquatic Wheelchairs
We provide three aquatic wheelchairs, accommodating up to 224kg to ensure safe pool access.
π Portable Hoist
A portable hoist is available for ease of access into any body of water, perfect for those who prefer it to a ramp.
πͺ Arjo Sara Stedy
This sit-to-stand aid allows caregivers to easily assist in sit-to-stand tasks and transfers for less mobile patrons.
ποΈ Health Club Accessibility
A dedicated area within the health club is equipped with wheelchair-accessible equipment, making it easier for all to engage in fitness activities.
π Learn to Swim & Personal Training
We offer dedicated 1:1 or 1:2 Learn to Swim classes, as well as 1:1 or 1:2 Personal Training sessions, ensuring personalised support.
Allied Health Services On-Site
Our allied health services are provided by the expert team at Perform Physio, offering a wide range of services, including:
