🌡️ Winter Update: 50m Pool Temperature & Lane Availability

Dear Member,

As we prepare for the winter season, we’d like to keep you informed about potential changes to our pool operations.

Last winter, colder weather significantly impacted the performance of our heat pumps, leading to lower water temperatures—particularly in the outdoor 50m pool. This, in turn, resulted in limited indoor lane availability during peak periods, especially when swim squads and swimming lessons were in session.

While it's difficult to predict exactly how this winter will unfold, we have taken proactive steps to minimise disruption to your swim experience.

🏊 Key Considerations This Winter:

  • If colder conditions require swim squad sessions to move indoors, we will ensure that at least two lanes in the 25m pool remain available during lesson times.
  • Peak usage typically occurs between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on weekdays. To enjoy a quieter swim, we encourage members to plan visits outside of these times where possible.
  • Pool temperature information is clearly displayed in the Centre lobby, and you’re also welcome to call us prior to your visit if you’d like to check current conditions.

📞 You can reach our team at (03) 9088 4600 during opening hours for live updates or to ask about lane availability.
