What can I expect in my gym consultation?

During your free 60-minute Kick-Off Consultation, we will take the time to understand your starting point, goals, and any barriers you may face. Using this information, we’ll design a program that’s right for you. Here's what you can expect:
- Personalised Program: We’ll create a tailored program designed specifically to meet your goals.
- Exercise Technique Coaching: You’ll receive expert guidance on safe and effective exercise techniques, with handy tips to get the most out of every workout.
- Body Composition Scan: If you wish, you can opt for a body composition scan to establish baseline measurements, which we’ll use to assess your progress over time.
Not looking for a program? Book in for a 30-minute Quick Start Consultation instead. This quick intro to the gym includes an explanation of locker access, logging into equipment & how use the Technogym app as well as an optional Body Composition Scan.
Health Questionnaire
As part of the consultation, you’ll complete a health questionnaire to help identify any risks associated with starting an exercise program. If needed, we may recommend consulting a GP or allied health professional before commencing your program to ensure your safety.
To save time, you can complete this questionnaire in the Technogym app before your consultation. This will allow your trainer to spend more time with you in the gym, guiding you through your new program.
Check-In and Program Update Sessions
Two weeks after your Kick-Off Consult, we’ll schedule a 30-minute Check-In Session to see how well your program “fits” your needs. During this session, we’ll:
- Fine-tune the program length and exercise selection based on your feedback.
- Review your technique to make sure you're on track.
We recommend a 60-minute Program Update every 10-12 weeks (4 times a year) to:
- Review your goals and assess your progress.
- Overcome challenges you may have faced in your last training block.
- Design a new program and guide you through it.
- Complete another body scan (if requested) to continue tracking your progress.
