Welcome to the Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre (NARC) online membership guide! Becoming a member of NARC is a simple and convenient process. This guide will walk you through each step, ensuring you have all the information you need to join our community.

Step 1: Visit the NARC Website

Access the NARC website to explore membership options:

On this page, you’ll find details on:

  • Facilities & Services: Aquatics, gym, group fitness, and specialised programs.

  • Pricing: Includes concession pricing and flexible payment plans.

  • Special Memberships: For Active Teens, Active Adults, and Swim Lesson participants.

  • Casual Visits: Day passes and multi-visit options.

  • Childcare Services: Safe and convenient care during your visit.

Step 2: Choose Your Membership Type

From the Membership page:

  • Browse available memberships.

  • Click "Select" or "Join" next to your preferred option.

Step 3: Create or Log In to Your NARC Account

  • Existing Member? Log in with your credentials.

  • New Member? Click "Start your journey here" and follow these steps:

Account Setup:

  1. Select Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre as your Darebin Facility.

  2. Choose Guest or Membership option.

  3. Select your payment plan and preferred start date (up to 7 days in advance).

  4. Enter personal details:

    • Name, email, phone, address

    • Concession details, emergency contact

    • Any medical conditions

  5. Input referral code (if applicable).

  6. Opt in/out of marketing updates.

  7. Create a secure password.

    • Select your Darebin Facility - Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre.
    • Choose the free guest account or membership option that best suits your needs.

    • For new memberships, select your preferred start date (you have up to 7 days in advance)

    • Fill in the required personal information, including your name, email, phone number, and address.
      • Fill in concession eligibility details, emergency contact person/phone #, any medical conditions we should be aware of.

    • Enter a Referral Code if you have been referred by an existing member 
    • Confirm whether you'd like to receive marketing updates from NARC - marketing messaging include Centre Promotions. 
    • Set a password for your account.

Step 4: Review & Confirm Membership

Carefully review the following details:

  • Valid From Date: Membership start date

  • Contract Type: Your selected membership

  • Weekly Cost

  • Next Payment Date

  • Today’s Payment: Includes pro-rata and joining fee (if applicable)

Then:

  • Agree to Member Terms & Conditions

  • Click "Yes" to confirm each item

  • Optionally view the full agreement before finalising

Step 5: Enter Payment Details

After confirming, enter your payment information:

  • Choose method: Credit card, direct debit, etc.

  • Complete required fields

  • Review the final payment summary

    • Choose your preferred payment method (credit card, direct debit, etc.).

    • Enter the required payment details and review the payment summary.

Step 6: Receive Confirmation Email

After completing your sign-up:

  • You will receive a confirmation email

    • Welcome message

    • Membership summary

    • Access instructions

Step 7: Accessing NARC Facilities 

  • With your membership active, you can now access all the facilities included in your membership type. Simply use the member login on our website or present your membership wrist band at our main reception desk.
