Welcome to the Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre (NARC) online membership guide! Becoming a member of NARC is a simple and convenient process. This guide will walk you through each step, ensuring you have all the information you need to join our community. 

Step 1: Visit the NARC Website 

  • NARC Membership Options
    • Navigate to our official website by clicking the link above.
    • Here, you can explore:
      • Service Areas: View the different facilities and services available at NARC, including our aquatics, health and wellness (gym), group fitness, and specialised programs. 
      • Costings: Review detailed pricing information for each membership type, including concession options. 
      • Special Memberships: Discover our special membership options tailored to meet the needs of Active Teens, Active Adults, and Swim Lesson participants. 
      • Casual Visits: Learn about the options for casual visits, including day passes and multi-visit passes, ideal for those who prefer flexibility. 
      • Childcare Options: Explore our childcare services, designed to make your visit more convenient by providing a safe and fun environment for your little ones while you enjoy our facilities.

Step 2: Choose Your Membership Type

  • On the membership page, you will see various options. NARC offers different membership types tailored to suit your needs.

  • Review the options and select the membership that best suits your needs by clicking on the "Select" or "Join" button next to your preferred membership.

Step 3: Create or Log In to Your NARC Account

    • Select your Darebin Facility - Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre.
    • Choose the free guest account or membership option that best suits your needs.

    • For new memberships, select your preferred start date (you have up to 7 days in advance)

    • Fill in the required personal information, including your name, email, phone number, and address.
      • Fill in concession eligibility details, emergency contact person/phone #, any medical conditions we should be aware of.

    • Enter a Referral Code if you have been referred by an existing member 
    • Confirm whether you'd like to receive marketing updates from NARC - marketing messaging include Centre Promotions. 
    • Set a password for your account.

Step 4: Review and Confirm Your Membership

  • Before finalizing your membership, review the details carefully:
    • Valid From Date - this is your membership start date
    • Contract Type - this is the membership type you've selected=
    • Cost - this is the weekly cost of your membership 
    • Your Next Payment - this is the date of your first direct debit
    • Your Payment for today - this is the amount due today
      • amount will include a pro-rata amount which covers your membership through to the next full direct debit period
      • amount may include a joining fee if applicable

    • Agree to and Sign Member Terms and Conditions 
          • If everything looks correct, click "Yes" to each tab
          • A full copy of NARC's T's & C's can be viewed prior to joining by clicking on "Read Full Agreement"

Step 5: Enter Your Payment Details 

  • After selecting your membership type and creating your account, you will be prompted to enter your payment information.

    • Choose your preferred payment method (credit card, direct debit, etc.).

    • Enter the required payment details and review the payment summary.

Step 6: Receive Your Confirmation Email 

  • Once your membership is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your membership.
    • This email will include:
      • A welcome message.
      • Details about your membership.
      • Instructions on how to access NARC facilities.

Step 7: Accessing NARC Facilities 

  • With your membership active, you can now access all the facilities included in your membership type. Simply use the member login on our website or present your membership wrist band at our main reception desk.
